The Credit Union will verify the eligibility of prospective members seeking membership with the Credit Union. We proudly serve specific occupational groups and their extended families.
Eligible Workplaces
- Employees of Verizon & subsidiaries
- Employees of Spectrum Cable
- Employees of Northland Communications
- Employees of this Credit Union
Family & Household
Eligible members consist of immediate family or household, even if the family member does not live in the same residence.
This includes:
Spouses, children, stepchildren, siblings, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, stepparents, stepsiblings, and adoptive relationships. Spouses of eligible persons who died while in the field of membership are also eligible.
Household Definition
Included in the definition is any person who is a permanent member of and participates in the maintenance of the household, for example, sharing an apartment with permanency as a domestic partner, not one who visits for a short period of time.
Verification & Lifetime Membership
The Credit Union will review payroll records and family history to determine whether the prospective member meets the occupational based membership eligibility.
